MIDDLESEX BORO, NJ — It's not just Donald Trump vs. Kamala Harris this November, folks.

Here is who is running for town Council and school board in Middlesex borough, supplied by the Middlesex County Clerk:

  • Kenneth Griggs, Jr., Republican, is running for a seat on the Middlesex borough Council.
  • As is Joseph W. DeScenza, also a Republican.

There are two open seats this year on the Middlesex borough Council. No Democrats filed to run.

Here is who is running for Middlesex borough Board of Education:

  • Sharon Schueler
  • Jeannette De Jesus
  • Danielle Parenti: For the Children

2-year term, vote for one:

  • PATRICIA REYNOLDS

One-year unexpired term, vote for one:

  • LANDETTE JEFFREY

For U.S. Senate (Sen. Bob Mendendez, convicted of bribery and other charges, will resign from the Senate next week), Andy Kim, the Democrat congressman from South Jersey is running for the open seat, against Republican Curtis Bashaw.

Menendez is also running in November’s election as an independent.

There are two Congress seats that represent Middlesex County:

NJ's Sixth Congressional district:

Longtime Congressman Frank Pallone, a Democrat, will be challenged by Republican Scott Fegler, of Highlands.

NJ's 12th Congressional district:

Longtime Democrat Congresswoman Bonnie Watson-Coleman will be challenged by Republican Darius Mayfield of Helmetta.

The election for all these offices will be the same day as the presidential election, Nov. 5.
