The Middletown High School South Girls Basketball Team was honored at a recent Middletown Township Committee meeting for winning the 2015 NJSIAA Public Group III Girls Basketball Champions. Mayor Stephanie C. Murray and the township committee recognized the team, which was led by Head Coach Thomas Brennan, Assistant Coaches Jessie Chalmers and Thomas Rooney, and Volunteer Coaches Randy Thomas and Joseph Benbrook. The team's roster included: Alexandra Balsamo, Gabrielle Cook, Curtis Madison, Haley Dalonzo, Angela DeBartolome, Jill Falvey, Hannah Fite, Stephanie Karcz, Roberta Montes, Brianne Naughton, and Julia Valkos.Photo courtesy Middletown Township
