Obituary: Safety Consultant Edmund Jeleniewski, 63

Edmund Jeleniewski, 63, of Middletown passed away on Jan. 4, 2014. 

He was born in Newark to Edmund and Grace Jeleniewski and lived in the Keansburg area his entire life. He graduated from Middletown North High School. 

Edmund worked as a Safety Consultant for Pro Safety Services of New Rochelle, NY. He was an avid reader and he loved the beach.

Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and John Dressler; his granddaughter, Amanda Dressler; his three brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Janice Jeleniewski, Mark and Lisa Jeleniewski, and John and Clarisse Jeleniewski; and his many nieces and nephews.

Edmund was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Grace (nee McGowan) Jeleniewski, his brother, Gary Jeleniewski (2000), and his two sisters Karen Jeleniewski (1955) and Linda Vena (2013).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 9 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. 

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, Jan. 10 at 9 a.m. at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Friday, Jan. 10 at 10:15 a.m. at St. Ann's RC Church, Carr Ave., Keansburg. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
