150 Millburn Families Collect Gifts for Essex County Children in Need
Deerfield Elementary School's second annual holiday outreach was a huge success, with a large amount of items donated to Essex foster kids.
150 Millburn families participated in Deerfield Elementary School’s second annual Hoilday Outreach “Embrace a Child” Gift Giving Program. The gifts collected were donated children in The Essex County Department of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P) foster care program.
Families participated by donating a “wish item” requested by each child, along with warm clothes and more. The collection was held on Friday, Dec. 12 at Deerfield Elementary.
