20,000 Millburn Area Residents Get Golden Tickets to Chocolate Works Grand Opening

The new downtown chocolate shop mailed out numbered tickets that give customers the chance to win prizes at the grand opening on Oct. 25.

Reminiscent of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, more than 20,000 “Golden Tickets” were mailed to local area residents to announce the Grand Opening of Chocolate Works in Millburn, located at 321 Millburn Ave. The store will open for business Saturday, Oct. 25.

Each “Golden Ticket” is numbered, providing an opportunity to win one of many prizes including an Apple iPad mini, a Nintendo Wii U, Gift cards, T-shirts, and more. Families are invited for a day of fun and sweet treats.

The official red ribbon cutting ceremony will include Millburn Mayor Robert Tillotson, and other town officials will be on hand to kick off the festivities at 10 a.m. The mayor is expected to be joined by members of the Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce with a special appearance by Lea Moelk, Mrs. New Jersey International 2014.

“There’s nothing like chocolate and candy to put a smile on people’s faces,” Randy Guttenberg said. “I want to share with everyone that it’s just as much fun creating chocolate as it is eating it,” Rob Weiss added.

Chocolate Works of Millburn’s parent company, 5th Avenue Chocolatiere, a family-owned and operated business, has been crafting and selling high quality gourmet chocolates for more than 40 years.

Chocolate Works goes beyond the basics of their world-renowned signature cocoa-dusted chocolate truffles and chocolate molded treats, Chocolate Works creates a uniquely well rounded chocolate and candy experience.

The Chocolate Works concept is designed to pull back the curtain and let customers in on the magic of the chocolate-making process by offering children, adults and corporate clients in on the fun.
