MILLBURN, NJ — Don't be surprised if you see a green, furry figure roaming the streets of Millburn on Saturday.

On Dec. 11 the Grinch will be spreading his own brand of Christmas "cheer" starting at 11:30 a.m. downtown. For photos with the Grinch and a free treat, people can visit Taste Buddy — at 515A Millburn Ave — from 12:45 to 1:30 p.m.

Also on Saturday, Jubliation Brass will be playing classic Christmas tunes throughout the downtown from 12 p.m to 2:45 p.m.

But the holiday spirit does not end there. Next Saturday, Dec. 18, Santa Claus will be making an appearance in Millburn. He will be making two local stops — first at Bagel Pantry on Upper Millburn Ave and then at The Book House on Essex Street.

The Snowflake Hunt is also still ongoing. Participants in the hunt have a chance to win $50 and $100 gift cards by stopping in any of the participating stores, grabbing a submission form and finding the hidden snowflakes inside. The contest begins on Saturday.
