David Harris to be Keynote Speaker at B'nai Jeshurun
Renowned American Jewish Congress executive director to speak about challenges facing Jews around the world.

American Jewish Committee Executive Director David Harris will deliver the keynote address at a community wide forum on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at Congregation B’nai Jeshurun in Short Hills.
The address, “Connecting the Dots…Challenges Facing Americans and Jews All Over the World,” is free and begins at 8 p.m.
Harris, a renowned spokesman for the group who has been honored by foreign governments for his work, has traveled worldwide meeting with world leaders to advocate for the Jewish people worldwide and for his efforts at combating anti-Semitism.

He has been a driving force in many historic achievements on behalf of the Jewish people, including the repeal of the infamous “Zionism is racism” United Nations resolution, the successful campaign to end Japan’s adherence to the Arab economic boycott of Israel, the rescue of Ethiopian and Soviet Jews and the effort to end Israel’s isolation at the UN.
Harris is a prolific author and commentator, and his weekly AJC radio broadcasts are heard by an estimated 35 million listeners nationwide on the CBS Radio Network. He also has a blog on international issues at the Jerusalem Post.
