Full Council Agenda Tuesday at Meeting

Millburn Board will focus on Riparian ordinance.

At tomorrow night’s Millburn Township Committee meeting, the board will consider several resolutions ranging from authorizing advertising for the Riparian restoration bid to awarding a fire rescue vehicle  to Crimson Fire.

The meeting, which begins at 8 p.m., will also include the following resolutions on the agenda:

• Authorization for advertising for a summer camp bus;

• Approve a place-to-place transfer of a liquor license;

• Confirming the appointment of Yuan Fen Lai to the senior citizens board;

• Authorizing a refund of tax overpayments;

• Extend the grace period on sewer use charge payments through June 30;

• Authorize advertising for a sprinkler system in the police building basement.

• Authorize the least for the Short Hills train station Eastbound concession stand;

• Authorize advertising for Downtown Millburn Riverwalk construction bids;

• Approve a livery license;

• Approve a raffle license;

• Approve a sidewalk café license, and

• Authorize advertising for the demolition of the Rimback Building.

 The council will also discuss changing the Millburn general ordinances  and amending several subsections and discuss an ordinance authorizing a lease between the township and the Millburn-Short Hills Historic Society.

The Riparian ordinance will also be discussed concerning flood damage prevention under the new Riparian zone ordinance.
