Man Arrested After Allegedly Robbing Mall Store with Gun
Nathaniel Osagie, 18, of Livingston, allegedly pointed BB gun at clothing store employee in The Mall at Short Hills demanding merchandise Monday afternoon, police say.

An 18-year-old Livingston man allegedly used a gun to rob a clothing store in The Mall at Short Hills Monday afternoon, Millburn officials said.
Nathaniel Osagie was arrested at about 3:30 p.m. on April 15 on robbery and three weapon charges, Capt. Bernie Neuhaus said Tuesday.
According to the report, police responded to the mall on a report of a man who pointed a handgun at an employee of the store True Religion.

When police arrived, Osagie was seen in the parking lot with what police believed was a handgun in his front pants pocket. Osagie was arrested without incident. During his arrest, police found a BB handgun in his possession, officials said.
A police investigation revealed Osagie entered the True Religion store and began selecting clothes at random.

According to the report, Osagie brought the items to the register and allegedly pulled out a handgun. He allegedly pointed the gun at one of the two employees in the store and demanded the merchandise.
At one point, Osagie became distracted and one employee fled the store while the other ran into the stockroom and called police, Neuhaus said,
Osagie was charged with robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
He was taken to Essex County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail, police said.
