Man Charged with Peering into Apartment Windows on Millburn Avenue
Millburn police chase, arrest a 40-year-old Vauxhall man after reports he was allegedly attempting to break into apartments in downtown Millburn.

A 40-year-old Vauxhall man suspected of attempting to break into apartments in downtown Millburn Thursday was arrested after a short police chase, Millburn police said.
Henry Jackson III was charged on April 25 with peering into windows and obstruction of justice, officials said.
According to police reports, Jackson was attempting to break into the apartments at about 10:40 p.m. near the intersection of Holmes Street and Millburn Avenue.

When police arrived at the intersection, a man fitting his description suddenly started to run. Police chased Jackson and arrested him in the PNC Bank parking lot.
Jackson told police he ran because he was scared and claimed he wasn't looking into apartment windows.

A resident told police the man was taking pictures into the apartment with his cell phone.
According to police, Jackson denied taking pictures but refused to show police his phone.
Jackson was arrested and later released with a court date in Millburn Municipal Court on Thursday.
An investigation is continuing.
