Check out all these key dates for the upcoming Millburn elections, including 8 profiles of candidates running for this year's Board of Ed.
MILLBURN, NJ — Election season is right around the corner, and it is important to know who will be on the ballot for Millburn's Board of Education this year, as well as key deadlines for voting.
The 2021 General Election on Nov. 2 will be in-person voting, with the exception of voters who applied via mail-in ballot. But you can vote early starting this Saturday.

Who is running for Millburn Board of Education this November?
Eight candidates are competing for 3 three-term positions on the board this year.

Important dates for the upcoming election:
- Oct. 23-Oct. 31: In-Person Early Voting Period. Visit the Essex County Board of Elections website for a list of early voting sites. Hours for early voting will be Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. No appointment is necessary.
- Oct. 26: Deadline to apply for a Vote-by-Mail Ballot by mail for General Election
- Nov. 1 at 3 p.m.: Deadline to apply for a Vote-by-Mail ballot in person at the Essex County Clerk’s office
- Nov. 2: Election Day - Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Voters can search for their designated polling location on this website by entering their street address.
To get a Vote-By-Mail application, download one at www.essexclerk.com, or pick one up in person at Millburn Town Hall. Completed applications should be mailed directly to the Essex County Clerk or placed in the drop box outside of Town Hall.
