Short Hills Resident Wins Second Place at County Art Show

Shah Nimuben is among the 31 professional and nonprofessional artists who received awards at the Annual Essex County Juried Art Show.

Short Hills resident, Shah Nimuben received a prestigious award in the Annual Essex County Senior Citizens Juried Art Show, which included nonprofessional and professional categories, in mediums ranging from pastels to photography.

Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr., fourth from left in the photo below, was on hand to congratulate Nimuben, who won second place in the non-professional craft category for “Tissue Holder.”

31 Essex County artists received awards at the county art show.The artists were recognized during an awards ceremony on Wednesday, August 27th at the Essex County Hospital Center in Cedar Grove. This year, 100 entries were submitted for review.
