Montclair BOE Reminds Residents of Public Comment Opportunity

The following statement was sent to Montclair Public School district families:

BOE meetings are working sessions as the Board conducts its business in full view of the public.

At every meeting there is an opportunity for Public Comment from members of the community. The purpose of the Public Comment section of the meeting is to hear directly from its stakeholders: parents, students, residents, and staff. In an effort to ensure all members of the community are able to utilize the time available, specific questions are answered individually after the meeting.

In an effort to ensure the community is aware of and can benefit from the specific questions brought up at the meeting, the district has created a web page to share the inquiries and responses. Please note that this document can be found on the district website here.
