Montclair Extends Grace Period For Property Tax Bills
Montclair released a third quarter tax bill update. The town council approved the latest municipal budget last month.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair’s tax office has received the certified tax rate and tax bill amounts are now available on the municipal website's payment portal, the township announced this week.
The township released the following third quarter tax bill update on July 23:
“Residents … our tax office has received the certified tax rate and tax bill amounts are now available on the website's payment portal. The grace period is extended to Sept. 5. Bills are being printed and will be in the mail the week of July 28.”
The Montclair Town Council gave a thumbs-up to the latest municipal budget in June. It authorizes the appropriation of $62.59 million for municipal purposes, $3.88 million for library purposes and $7.74 million for school debt service purposes in Type I school district to be raised by taxation.
