
Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church of Moorestown will host a community-wide Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration on Sunday, January 19, at 5:00 p.m., at the church, located at 512 N. Church Street.
The program, themed “The Journey Is Not Over,” will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through music, spoken word, and reflection. The evening will feature a Mass Community Choir, directed by Samuel Frisby, along with praise dance and spoken word performances.Quinton Law, Mayor of Moorestown, will serve as the guest speaker, offering remarks on Dr. King’s enduring impact and the continued work of justice and community engagement.
Bethel AME Church, led by Pastor Howard M. Jenkins, Jr., invites residents and visitors from across the region to attend. The event is free and open to the public.
