Laura and her combo will present a program of American popular songs, jazz standards, and vintage pop. Joining Laura are Doug Clarke on guitar, Bill Moring on bass, and Rudy Petschauer on drums. 1776 has an outstanding Brunch menu and a cool atmosphere. ROSE HOUSE ANNOUNCES RETURN OF ITS 
ANNUAL GALA FUNDRAISER
Event to support the organization’s “Forever Home Project” for adults with special needs

 
 
Morris Plains, N.J., December 3, 2025
— Rose House, a nonprofit organization that creates homes for people with special needs, is proud to announce the return of its signature fundraising event after a seven-year hiatus. Rose House Gala will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at The Grove in Cedar Grove, New Jersey.
All proceeds will benefit the organization’s Forever Home Project. Expected for completion in 2027, it will provide affordable, accessible housing for 12 adults with developmental disabilities in Chester Township, New Jersey.
Rose House Gala will bring together community members, families, and supporters to celebrate inclusion and independence while raising funds to make another Rose House forever home possible. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, seated dinner, live entertainment from Anthony Duke Claus, dancing, and a silent and live auction featuring exclusive items and experiences. 
“Sustained community support allows us to continue giving people with special needs the opportunity to live with dignity and a sense of purpose,” said Tom Mitchell, CEO of Rose House. “We are thrilled to bring back our gala, not just as a fundraiser, but as a celebration of the residents, families, and supporters who make this mission possible.”

Pioneer Production is excited to announce a special, limited-engagement run of Heidi Schreck's "What the Constitution Means to Me," coming to Morristown in early 2026. The play will run for five performances only, on January 31, February 1, 6, 7, and 8, 2026, at the Stage at Fellowship Hall, located at 50 South Park Place in Morristown.
Pioneer Production's Artistic Director, Dan Vissers, will direct Schreck’s boundary-breaking play that breathes new life into our Constitution and imagines how it will shape the next generation of Americans. Fifteen-year-old Heidi earned her college tuition by winning Constitutional debate competitions across the United States. In this hilarious, hopeful, and achingly human play, she resurrects her teenage self to trace the profound relationship between four generations of women and the founding document that shaped their lives.
The performance will feature veteran Pioneer performer Miriam Salerno in the role of Heidi. Previous Pioneer roles for Salerno include Sugar in Tiny Beautiful Things, Bella in Lost in Yonkers, Annette in God of Carnage, and Beth in Dinner with Friends. The cast also includes Ben Weisman as Legionnaire and Ashlee Vissers as the Debater.
As a bonus, patrons will be greeted with a special live preshow cabaret performance by Jade Delos Santos, who starred on the Pioneer stage earlier this year as Joanne in Jonathan Larson's RENT. Delos Santos will open the evening with a USO-style show that features a selection of classics from the 20th century.
Dates: January 31, February 1, 6, 7, 8 Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm, Sundays at 3 pm.
