10 Morristown HS Seniors Named National Merit Commended Students
The students are recognized for their academic achievements after placing among the top scorers on the PSAT.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Ten Morristown High School students have been named Commended Students by the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Commended students are selected by placing in the top 50,000 PSAT test takers nationwide. Over 1.5 million students took the PSAT last year. The students were given a commendation by Principal Mark Manning on behalf of the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
"Those being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success," a spokesperson for National Merit Scholarship Corporation said. “These students represent a valuable national resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation. We hope that this recognition will help broaden their educational opportunities and encourage them as they continue their pursuit of academic success."
