'Code Blue' Weather Emergency In Effect For Morris County

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A Code Blue Weather Emergency is in effect for Morris County for tomorrow night, county officials announced Tuesday.
According to the National Weather Service, temperatures are anticipated to drop into the low 30s on Wednesday night. Lows of 24 degrees overnight will be reached for the remainder of this week.
In Morris County, a Code Blue declaration is issued when dangerously cold weather threatens individuals or families without shelter. The county provides short-term sheltering in clean, safe locations during the declaration.
