A debris spill on NJ 24 is disrupting Morris County residents' commute on Tuesday afternoon.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A debris spill on Rt. 24 in Morris County has prompted commuting delays in the area Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
As of 2:15 p.m., there’s a debris spill on Rt. 24 westbound at Exit 1 – CR 511/Whippany Road, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
One right lane of three lanes is currently closed, causing a traffic delay in the surrounding areas, according to officials.

The current travel time for the surrounding area is around ten minutes, but delays could extend beyond that, the agency said.
