Knife Assault Sends Two To Morris Co. Hospital, Police Say

According to Dover Police Department Detective Joe Dodd, the investigation is still active and ongoing.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Two men were taken to Morristown Medical Center for treatment following an altercation between multiple men that ended with a knife assault, according to the Dover Police Department.

The investigation is currently active and ongoing, however, based on the information obtained, there is no perceived threat to the public at this time, Detective Joe Dodd said.

According to police, officers responded to the area of East Blackwell Street near Mercer Street in Dover on Sunday, Nov. 6, for a reported altercation between multiple male subjects.

During the altercation, two of the males involved were attacked with a knife and injured. The victims were taken to Morristown Medical Center to be treated for their injuries.

To protect the integrity of the investigation, no additional information will be released at this time, police said.
