Man Hit In Head By Dumpster, Taken To Morristown Hospital
The 57-year-old man was operating a sanitation truck when he was struck by the dumpster, police said.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — A man was admitted to Morristown Medical Center on Friday, Oct. 7, with minor injuries after being hit in the head by a dumpster, according to Morristown police.
The 57-year-old man was driving a sanitation truck on Farmhouse Lane near the B Buildings in Morristown when he was struck by a dumpster being hauled by a winch, Captain Stuart Greer said.
The worker was struck, according to initial reports, around 8:00 a.m. The Morristown fire and police departments arrived to find the man injured but conscious and alert, police said.

He was taken to Morristown Medical Center's Emergency Department for an evaluation at his request, Greer said.
