Morris Co. Woman Dead After Striking 2 People With Her Car At Concert Venue: Cops

The woman suffered from a medical episode while driving and lost control of her car, officials said.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A Morris County woman has died after she lost control of her car in a Monmouth County concert venue parking lot, striking two pedestrians.

On Tuesday, around 4:30 p.m., police responded to the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on a report of a car accident.

Officials found that Nancy C. Johnston, 85, from Wharton, was leaving the venue’s parking lot when she suffered a medical episode while driving, according to police.

Johnston lost control of her Subaru, striking a Ford Bronco and two pedestrians in the parking lot, officials said.

Johnston sustained fatal injuries from the crash, and the two pedestrians were hospitalized with minor injuries, according to police.
