Morris Plains Municipal, Board Of Education Election 2022 Results

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — All districts are reporting in Morris Plains and Morris Township, and the unofficial results are in for all local elections, per the Morris County Clerk's Office.

In the Morris Plains municipal election, one candidate is running to replace current Mayor Jason C. Karr, who is running for re-election this year. Candidate Arthur "Art" J. Bruhn Jr. is running in opposition.

Karr is leading the polls, according to unofficial results.

• Bruhn Jr.: 1,070
• Karr: 1,662

Morris Plains voters also be voted for two new borough council members. There are four people running for two at-large seats (each term lasts three years): Jennifer L. Meehan, James W. Myers, Joan Goddard and Nancy Verga.

Councilwomen Nancy Verga and Joan Goddard are projected to win their re-election bids, according to unofficial results.

• Meehan: 1,200
• Myers: 1,298
• Goddard: 1,420
• Verga: 1,502

Morris Township voters will be voting for two new members to the township committee. There are four people running for two seats (one term lasts for three years and the other lasts for two years): Peter V. Mancuso, Jeff Grayzel, Sherry N. Nardolillo and Donna J. Guariglia.

Below are results that will be updated throughout the night:

• Mancuso: 4,465
• Grayzel: 5,119
• Nardolillo: 4,232
• Guariglia: 5,290

In the Morris Township Board of Education race, there are three people running for three seats (terms last for three years): Dawn Teresa Parkot, Melissa Spiotta and Susan M. Pedalino.
