Morristown Healthcare Worker Honored In National Contest
ImageFIRST has recognized exceptional Healthcare Heroes who go above and beyond to positively impact the lives of their patients.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — One local medical professional has been recognized as an exceptional "Healthcare Hero" who has gone above and beyond to positively impact the lives of their patients in the second annual HeroesFIRST contest, presented by ImageFIRST.
After the ImageFIRST Service Team received over 450 nominations, ten regional Healthcare Heroes were chosen as finalists, one of whom was from Morristown.
Lisa Malzone, who works at Advanced Vascular Associates in Morristown, has been voted to represent the northeast region in the contest, officials said.

"Not all heroes wear capes easily summarizes the impact Lisa leaves on not only her patients but the associates she works alongside. Her dedication and care for others makes her remarkable. Lisa always shows empathy to her coworkers and patients, and never judges anyone's situation," Malzone's candidate profile said.
A local celebration will be held on Nov. 10 to congratulate Malzone on her achievement, and she will be awarded a $1,500 grand prize in recognition of her inspiring work in the healthcare field.
