According to his website, Coniglio is the only pizza maker who has ever worked as an apprentice for Dom DeMarco, the founder of DiFara's Pizzeria. Coniglio and his business partners have previously opened several pizza restaurants in New York City and Brooklyn.
Coniglio has won several pizza competitions, including first place in the Traditional Pizza category at the Las Vegas Pizza Expo, and the most prestigious prize of all, Nino was named Champion and Pizza Maker of the Year, defeating all other division winners at the Las Vegas Pizza Expo.

The new restaurant opened last week with a modified menu and only walk-in service, but Coniglio says that will change by next week and full service will be available.
Despite the fact that it has only been open for a week, the restaurant's impact and popularity have already created a buzz among locals, with lines forming before the pizzeria opens its doors.
Coniglio's Old Fashioned is open Wednesday through Sunday from 5 p.m. until the store runs out of pizza, according to restaurant officials.
Online ordering is expected to begin next week, with a full online menu soon to follow. Visit Coniglios' Instagram page to stay up to date on their latest news.
