Winter Registration: Majorettes, Cheer & Sorority

SoulPhamm is conducting registration for:

• Purple Reign's cheerleading/stomp & shake team for girls ages 12-18. The team learns traditional cheerleading, HBCU style stomp & shake infused with hip-hop majorette dance.
• SoulDeevas' hip-hop majorette dance team for girls ages 16-19. The team learns both hip-hop and traditional HBCU style majorette dance infused with stomp & shake cheer.
• Nu Sigma Theta Sorority for girls ages 12-15. This is a social, service and college/career prep program for girls.

In-person practices are Saturdays from 1pm to 4pm; virtual practices are Thursdays from 6pm-8pm. There is also an optional, virtual teen financial literacy class on Tuesdays from 7pm-8pm.

Our current location is InSpira Dance Studios in Newark, but the team will likely be moving to Elizabeth or East Orange, NJ in January due to space constraints.

Current upcoming events include: HBCU Showdown, Seton Hall Halftime performance at Prudential Center, NBA G-League Performance, Battle in the Apple Competition (Brooklyn), Easter Parade in Atlantic City, NYC Dance Parade, Grand Royale Stomp & Shake competition, and more.

Cost is $10 for registration, $30/month dues plus the cost of uniforms. Complete the form on our website to learn more (and receive the uniform list).
