North Jersey Alumnae Chapter (NJAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., in collaboration with the Newark Public Library, presents a herstory exhibit&nbsp;highlighting the chapter’s leadership and service across the decades.
As the first alumnae chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in the state of New Jersey, NJAC has&nbsp;a unique history spanning 86 years and a long, rich legacy of serving and fighting for our communities, from the front lines. NJAC members have been some of the most dynamic, determined and trailblazing leaders in the state, with influence that extends across the country. This herstory of uplifting underserved communitites, through tireless service and social action, will leave you feeling empowered and inspired.

On Wednesday January 14, dozens of Beast Game Season 2 contestants and former Survivor and Squid Games contestants will be at The Ainsworth Midtown to watch the latest episodes of Beast Games Season 2! And yes, we will see the Survivor crossover!!

Step into the creative world of fabric and thread with our Sewing Machine Basics class. This inclusive workshop is designed to ignite your creative passion and build essential sewing skills. Participants will first get comfortable with their machine, learning its fundamental parts and safe operation, master the ‘magic’ of threading the needle and winding the bobbin. Then participants will practice various basic stitches like straight lines, curves, and zigzags. This is a great beginners class. No experience necessary.

Code and Coffee is an inclusive, informal networking/co-working session for those in tech (and the tech-curious). That includes operators, founders, and investors. Developers, data engineers, UX/UI designers, data scientists, product managers, software engineers, solution architects... all are welcome!
People of all skill and experience levels can attend, we love it that way. Many people (optionally) bring projects to work on, and many other people (optionally) socialize the entire time. It's entirely up to you!
Come grab a cup of coffee and meet new people, share stories, find collaborators, talk about everything tech, talk about everything NOT tech, take a break from job applications, get away from the computer screen, make connections, make conversation, make friends!

The Intro Circle Near the beginning of the event (about 2:30 pm), we will do a standup in a circle: We first talk about organizer announcements, updates, and logistics. Then we go around the circle where each person says:
<ul><li>your name and job title/ role in tech/ tech stack,</li><li>What you can help others with,</li><li>What you would like help with,</li><li>Job opportunities you're hiring for OR announce that you are looking for one. If none, that's cool.</li></ul>
After the introduction circle, everything is self-organized.
