Dog From Newark Earns Prize At Halloween Costume Contest
This adorable doggo from Newark dressed up for the county's annual Strutt Your Mutt competition.
NEWARK, NJ — An adorable doggo from Newark captured a prize at a 2023 Strutt Your Mutt Halloween contest in Essex County.
Essex County held its annual series of free canine Halloween costume parades and contests at three of its parks for 2024: Branch Brook, Brookdale and Grover Cleveland.
Newark residents Joao and Mariana Cambrosio and their pet, Rex – who were dressed up as a steam pump – won second place in the Most Creative Costume category at Grover Cleveland Park (see photo above).
