Foreclosure Attorney to Give Talk Thursday

On Thursday, April 11, the People’s Organization for Progress will host a discussion on foreclosure defense at its weekly general assembly at Abyssinian Baptist Church, 224 West Kinney St, at 6:30pm.

Adam Deutsch, a foreclosure defense attorney based in Bergen County, will be the guest speaker at the meeting.This event has been rescheduled from last Thursday, April 4. 

The People’s Organization for Progress has done significant work on foreclosure defense in recent years, protesting against predatory lenders, rallying in defense of an elderly foreclosure victim Susie Johnson and dramatizing how the foreclosure crisis is particularly plaguing black and Latino communities in the greater Newark area.

The People’s Organization for Progress hosts its general assembly meeting every Thursday evening at Abyssinian Baptist Church at 6:30pm.
