Mayor Cory A. Booker, Municipal Council Member-at-Large Luis A. Quintana, the Newark Municipal Council, the Department of Neighborhood and Recreational Services, Essex Plaza Management, and Pan-American Caribbean Boxing Organization of Newark (P.A.C.B.O.) will host the New Jersey Golden Gloves 2013 Young Adult Amateur Boxing Event on Saturday, April 6, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the John F. Kennedy Recreation Center, 211 West Kinney St. (Entrance to the center is on Howard Street.)
The event is free and open to the public.
