Newark Animal Shelter ‘Full To Capacity’ For Dogs, Kittens
Summer may be winding down, but kitten season is still in full swing. There are also plenty of puppers who need adoption or foster families.
NEWARK, NJ — Summer may be winding down, but kitten season is still going strong. And at the Associated Humane Societies (AHS) animal shelter in Newark – which is also “full to capacity” with dogs – it’s as good a time as ever to think about adopting or fostering a furry friend.
The shelter, located at 124 Evergreen Avenue, asked people to consider donating some wet kitten and dog food in a social media post last week.
“Summer may be winding down, but kitten season is still in full swing,” the shelter reported. “Every day, more and more litters of kittens are being brought to the shelter. We are full to capacity with dogs and cats – please help us by donating wet kitten and dog food.”
