Newark Is Delivering New Trash Bins To Residents In March
Newark residents who live in four-family homes or less will receive new trash receptacles as part of a citywide initiative.

NEWARK, NJ — Get ready for your new trash bins, Newark.
Starting in March, Newark residents who live in four-family homes or less will receive new trash receptacles as part of a citywide initiative.
“Trash cans will be delivered to the curb of your house from Monday through Friday between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.,” city officials said. “You are not required to be home at the time of arrival.”

Newark officials continued:
“The city’s manufacturing partner, Rehrig Pacific Company, will drop them off, and assign a tracking number to each receptacle given per location. The Department of Public Works will continue to collect trash as normal. Be sure to place your carts at the end of your driveways or on your curb for trash pick-up on scheduled days.”
