Here's the recipe for a Halloween-friendly city, a new study says.
NEWARK, NJ — Newark ranked high on a list of 2025’s “Best Cities For Halloween.”
Financial information website WalletHub released its annual holiday list on Monday, rating Newark as the 10th-best city in the nation when it comes to having a happy Halloween.
Researchers compared the 100 largest U.S. cities across three key areas: “Trick-or-Treater-Friendliness,” “Halloween Fun,” and “Halloween Weather.” Key metrics included costume stores per capita, car-pedestrian crashes, average temperatures, population density, crime rates, “walkability,” and their share of potential trick-or-treat stops.
