As we approach this holiday season, what are you thankful for?

I am thankful for the journey I have experienced in life because no matter the obstacles it has brought me to be this person of great resilience and tenacity. On this journey I had two beautiful boys, a supportive husband and the opportunity to contribute to change in the world as an educators. Most of all my grandmother, because everything I ever am and everything ever will be I owe to her.
