Three Kings Day Celebrated At Newark Hospital With Gifts For Kids
Community members gathered to deliver presents to pediatric patients at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
NEWARK, NJ — Newark Beth Israel Medical Center recently hosted a special Three Kings Day event.
The holiday commemorates the arrival of the “three kings” (Balthazar, Melchior and Gaspar) in Bethlehem. It is widely celebrated in many Central and South American countries.
Several community members, including Newark City Councilman-at-Large Luis Quintana, gathered to deliver presents to pediatric patients at the hospital on Friday.
