Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church to "Shift Gears with Pastor Greer" in Breast Cancer Walk

Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, New Brunswick will kick off the celebration of the church’s 185th Anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012 by supporting a community cause. The congregation will “Shift Gears with Pastor Greer” as
the pastor, Rev. Daylan K. Greer, Sr. leads the membership in a Breast  Cancer Awareness Walk.

The walk will begin at 12:30 p.m. at Mt. Zion, 39
Hildebrand Way, and proceed to the Hyatt Regency and return to the church. Pledge sheets are available by contacting the church office at (732) 249-8476 and all are welcome to join in this historic church celebration.

Funds collected will benefit the Sisters Network of Central New Jersey (SNCNJ), an African-American Breast Cancer Survivorship Organization. SNCNJ members will also join in the walk.

The event is coordinated by Mt. Zion’s Praising Healthy Ministry.
