New Brunswick Library to Screen Films as Part of Fertile Crescent Exhibit

As part of the Fertile Crescent Project Borderlands Exhibit, the New Brunswick Free Public Library will screen two documentaries:

"Miss Representation" will be shown at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18 and "Lady Kul El Arab" will be screened at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25.

The New Brunswick Free Public Library provided the following description of the exhibit:

The New Brunswick Free Public Library is a program partner for The Fertile Crescent, a project organized by the Institute for Women and Art, a unit of the Rutgers University Office of the Associate Vice President for Academic and Public Partnerships in the Arts and Humanities and a member institute of the Rutgers Institute for Women's Leadership. Judith K. Brodsky and Ferris Olin are directors of the project, which is a showcase of exhibitions, symposia, lectures, film screenings, musical and literary events by contemporary Middle East women artists, scholars, filmmakers, composers, performers, and writers. Susan Falciani is the curator of the Borderlands exhibit.
