Calling All Artists: Highland Park Arts Festival Seeks Submissions
Arts in the Park will be held Sept. 29.

Main Street Highland Park is seeking artists to showcase and sell their wares at Arts in the Park, Highland Park’s annual arts street fair. The festival will be on Sunday, September 29 from 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. along Raritan Avenue (Route 27) in downtown Highland Park, New Jersey. Raritan Avenue will be closed to traffic for the event.
The main attraction of The Arts in the Park will be the juried show, highlighting Highland Park’s many local artists as well as others. Participants will display and sell their work under tents along Raritan Avenue in the downtown, and participate in a contest. There will be an Art Expo featuring promotional booths, children’s activities, food and performances by top entertainers from the area.
The juried art show features cash awards for first, second, and third places in seven categories: Painting, Sculpture, Photography, Fine Crafts, “Green” (recycled/found), Graphics/Drawing/Printmaking, and Mixed Media.In addition to artists, Main Street Highland Park is also looking for event sponsors, musicians, food and beverage vendors, and local organizations to be a part of the street fair.
