Car Drove Into Extended Stay Hotel In Piscataway

Witnesses told police a man, who was driving, and a woman in the passenger seat got out, inspected the damage and then fled.

PISCATAWAY, NJ — A car drove into the Extended Stay hotel in Piscataway early Sunday morning, according to police in that town.

This happened at the Extended Stay at 410 South Randolphville Road: At 2:10 a.m. Sunday, Piscataway Police responded there for a 911 call that a car had struck the front of the building, and then fled.

The impact left a hole in the building. Witnesses told police a man, who had been driving, and a woman in the passenger seat got out of the car and inspected the damage before they got back in and fled the area, said Deputy Piscataway Police Chief Michelle Pilch.

The Piscataway Building inspector responded and deemed the hotel safe for continued occupancy.

No arrests have been made.
