Empowerment Seminar Urges Women to "Stop Existing, Start Living"

Faith Saunders, a local counselor and entrepreneur, will host the seminar on May 18 in Somerset.

A local woman has made it her goal to bring fulfilment and empowerment to as many women as possible.

Faith Saunders is a counselor and the founder of "Keepsakes by Faith", stationary and greeting cards company that she got off the ground with the help of New Brunswick's own Intersect Fund.

Now, Saunders, who preaches the power of positive thinking, is working to fulfill a goal for 2013.

"I have made a commitment to support 400 women in 2013 to reclaim their lives," Saunders said. "I've come to the realization that there are many women who are merely existing. They look great on the outside but are crumbling inside because they do not feel fulfilled."

To that end, Saunders runs empowerment workshops to help women identify their goals and aspirations and establish paths to achieve them.
