Free Car Seat Safety Inspections In Middlesex County

PISCATAWAY, NJ — The Middlesex County Sheriff will offer free car seat safety inspections in March, April, May and June at various sites throughout Middlesex County.

These will be multiple sites, staffed by county Sheriff's officers, where families can bring their cars and make sure their infant/child car seats and booster seats are installed correctly.

Free. No appointment is required, walk-ins are welcome. You do not have to be a resident of Middlesex County to bring your car to be checked.

March dates at the Piscataway YMCA, 520 Hoes Lane, Piscataway, NJ 08854:

• Saturday, March 1: 9:00 am–1:00 pm
• Wednesday, March 12: 3:30 pm–7:30 pm
• Wednesday, March 19: 3:30 pm–7:30 pm
• Saturday, March 29: 9:00 am–1:00 pm

April at the Monroe Community Center, 120 Monmouth Road, Monroe Township, NJ 08831:

• Saturday, April 5: 9:00 am–1:00 pm
• Wednesday, April 9: 3:30 pm–7:30 pm
• Wednesday, April 16: 3:30 pm–7:30 pm
• Saturday, April 26: 9:00 am–1:00 pm

May at South Brunswick High School, 750 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852:

• Saturday, May 3: 9:00 am–1:00 pm
