Grease Trucks Draw Crowds in Final Hours

The Grease Trucks will wrap up their final sandwiches today at their current location on College Avenue to make way for new student housing.

The trucks will be dispersed to spots around New Brunswick, but their longtime location in Lot 8 is being transformed into a student housing complex as part of a massive redevelopment of the Rutgers College Avenue campus.

On Wednesday night, the eve of the final day, people mobbed the trucks to enjoy a Fat Daryl or Fat Cat one last time in the iconic late-night spot.

The trucks have seen a spike in business ever since the story of their relocation began circulating media outlets last week.
