H.O.N.O.R. Track Meet Draws Novice and Seasoned Athletes to Run Together

The annual track meet is held at Memorial Stadium in New Brunswick.

More than 100 kids and teens from around New Jersey took to the track at Memorial Stadium on Saturday for the 24th annual H.O.N.O.R. track meet.

H.O.N.O.R. is a group of Johnson & Johnson employees who volunteer for various causes.

They host the track meet year after year as a way to give back to the community, and see the large turnout year after year as a sign of what it means to the participants, said Matthew Johnson, H.O.N.O.R. co-chair.

The free event is presented in cooperation with the Joetta Clark Diggs Sports Foundation, the official hosts of a track camp for kids that took place all last week at Memorial Stadium. Johnson & Johnson is the camp's sponsor.
