Hungarian Festival Returns to New Brunswick on Saturday

The annual festival features music, exhibits, culture and plenty of Hungarian food.

The 38th annual Hungarian Festival is set to fill Somerset Street on Saturday with the sights, sounds and smells of Hungarian culture.

Hosted by the Hungarian Civic Association, the day begins at 11 a.m. with an opening parade and folk dancing. Throughout the day, dance and fencing demonstrations will be offered, as well as games for children.

A 5:30 p.m. Mass will be held at St. Ladislaus Church, and a "Twilight Concert" featuring the music of a Hungarian brass quintet will be held at 6 p.m. at the American Hungarian Foundation, according to the festival website.
