Ice Cream and a Smile for Child Patients on Miracle Treat Day

On Miracle Treat Day, $1 or more from every Dairy Queen Blizzard sold will go toward Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in the U.S. and Canada.

Miss America 2013, Mallory Hytes Hagan, a national goodwill ambassador for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, visited patients at PSE&G Children’s Specialized Hospital and delivered blizzard ice cream treats during the eighth annual Dairy Queen® Miracle Treat Day, August 8, 2013.

(On Thursday), $1 or more from every Blizzard® Treat sold at participating locations will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®, a charity that raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada.

Children’s Specialized Hospital will receive donations made in central and northern New Jersey Dairy Queens. In 2012, 29 North and Central NJ Dairy Queens participated in Miracle Treat Day and raised $19,448 for Children’s Specialized Hospital. This year, 38 North and Central NJ Dairy Queens have signed up to participate in Miracle Treat Day.  These donations will help the hospital provide life changing services to children affected by brain injury, spinal cord injury, premature birth, autism, developmental delays, and life-changing illnesses.
