Learn About Expanding Latino Marketplace at Business Expo

The Hispanic Business Expo will take place on July 16 in Edison

Dance, eat and learn about the growing Hispanic marketplace in central New Jersey at the Hispanic Business Expo, scheduled for 5-8 p.m. July 16 at the Pines Manor in Edison.

Hosted by the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce, the expo is free to attend and open to the public. It will showcase a number of Hispanic-owned businesses from around central New Jersey.

According to the chamber, Latinos make up 18 percent of the country's population, a 45 percent increase since the year 2000.

"This growing group has significant purchasing power and plays a key role in our region’s economy," according to the chamber website.

The event will also feature tastings of Latin American cuisine and a performance from Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre. 

Admission to the expo is free, but registration is requested

Sponsorships are also available for companies interested in participating.
