New Brunswick Celebrates National Night Out
National Night Out is a community event held annually in towns across the country.
On Tuesday night, New Brunswick residents gathered outdoors for an annual community celebration intended to strengthen community relationships, take a stand against crime, and improve the relationship between residents and emergency responders.
The neighborhoods of Unity Square, Hiram Square, Van Dyke Avenue, Hope Manor, St. Mary's Apartments, Pine Street and Raritan Gardens all held their own neighborhood celebrations in recognition of National Night Out, attended by the city's police and fire departments, as well as several local elected officials.
