Piscataway High School Teacher Allegedly Had Sex with Student

A Piscataway High School gym teacher and coach has been arrested and charged with having sexual relations with an 18-year-old student.

Adrian McConney, 36, of Piscataway was arrested at home on Friday and charged with official misconduct.

According to a press release from the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, McConney was arrested after the school contacted police. An investigation showed that McConney, a school employee since 2002, had "had relations" with the girl in February.

His bail has been set at $50,000.
