At 6 p.m., NBT will host a comedy show featuring comedians Vinnie Brand, Melvin George and NBT board member Joan Weisblatt. Tickets are $60 and include dinner and the show.
Thursday
Maxine Lurie Book Discussion: "New Jersey: A History of the Garden State", Barnes and Noble at Rutgers University Bookstore, 100 Somerset St.
Admission is free. The discussion begins at 5 p.m.
Friday
Rutgers Gardens Farmers Market, Rutgers Gardens, 112 Ryders Lane.
The market is open from noon to 5 p.m. and features fresh, locally grown produce, crafts and vendors.
