New Jersey Film Festival Screening, Ruth Adams Building, 131 George St.

At 6 p.m, the festival will screen the independent films "Drained" "Hluboký Tón (Deep Note)" and "Ditchwork". Admission for all three films is $10.

Friday

Paula Poundstone at the State Theatre, 15 Livingston Ave.

Stand-up comedian Paula Poundstone will perform at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25.
